Forbidden Cities

Solo Exhibition

Movimento Arte Contemporanea Gallery, Milan, Italy

26 March - 30 April 2009

Forbidden Cities unfolds as a series of imagined realms—at once seductive and inaccessible.

Within these works, castles rise, stairways lead toward the unknown, and symbolic figures move through shifting landscapes. Each element feels familiar, yet resists clear definition, inviting the viewer into a space of interpretation rather than certainty.

Green’s layered surfaces—combining colour, metallic elements, and textured materials—create a tension between what is revealed and what remains hidden. The paintings draw us in, holding us between curiosity and hesitation.

These are not places we can fully enter, but worlds we are compelled to approach. In doing so, we are invited to move beyond imposed boundaries and reconnect with a more instinctive, imaginative way of seeing.
